Sometimes I can struggle for weeks to come up with good gear concepts. Sometimes a killer idea just flows out in a hectic five minute notebook scrawl. These are a couple of the latter. The first, a quick concept sketch of what would become the first generation Icon gear - Alliance helmet, HeroDaytona jacket, SuperDuty gloves and Barrier pants. The second is a preliminary version of the Anthem jersey, hoody, and pants. As drawings go they may not look like much, but they are the most critical step in the design process. Speedway Heros

We all know that GI Joe is a real American Hero - always was, always will be. Another batch of real American hero's are the men and women of the dirt oval. Flattrack. Some say it's a dead sport - we say check out an event if you have the chance. Hard core racing - hard core Americana. We checked out the West Coast series as it rolled through Banks, Oregon last weekend. Awesome event. Click here to check out our homage to the heros of the oval.
