The Mechanica is the future-at least one possible future. In our preferred future John Conner doesn't survive and there will be no resistance. Just Skynet getting down to the business of building wicked sexy female terminators. It looks like someone out there in the Philly area has the jump on SkyNet and is using Busas' as a beta Terminator platform.
