Icon spends a lot of time in wind tunnels. Most are smaller tunnels used to test and refine the aerodynamics of our industry leading helmets. When the need arises we don’t hesitate to go huge. Such was the case with the all new Contra jacket. Utilizing a massive 4,000 sqft wind tunnel we blasted both rider, bike, and jacket with hi-velocity airflow. This controlled environment, along with real world testing, allowed us to evaluate and refine the airflow and venting characteristics of the Contra.
